I bought this and i found it really easy to install. the music quality is awsume and it rendors the sound effects very well in movies. if i had to say anything negative about this is while the sound effects and music seem to be very well rendored the volume for the people speaking in the movies seems to be really low for some reason i find myself having to adjust the volume oftem just to hear them speak. i do not know if this is just an issue with the blue rays / dvds but i dont have this issue much when im just watching the Satelight tv stations. but over all i am happy with it an i recomend this to others buy this its worth the price you pay.
Oh dont forget to buy the cables you will need the Dmi and fiber optic cables for the best quality it does not come in the box. as do most sony products for some reason.

If you bought this system, I apologize on behalf of Sony. Buy a real setup and stop being cheap. Your friends will appreciate you not putting them in a position to say bad things behind your back.

This is a great deal for the price and free shipping. It replaced a system from another manufacturer that was damaged during a lightning surge. The Sony cost 1/5 of the old system, but I find it easier to use. The omni-directional microphone used to self calibrate the speakers was a great feature. I also like to use a system that accepts a fiber-optic input from my cable box for true 5.1 surround sound.
The only thing that took me a bit of time to figure out and correct, was the audio being out of sync with the video when using the Cable Tv input. The Sony on-line support had my solution very quickly…I had also found it in the users guide after a bit of reading.

Awesome product to keep, great customer service, excellent experience with product delivery and package. I am being using it for an year now and it works perfect! Awesome Sub-Woofer that rocks every inch of my house! Must recommend to all who are into Music and Movies and also Gaming!

For a not very techie family we like the sound that comes out of this system. Much easier to hook up than other brand we bought and then returned because it wouldn’t sync with our TV. We don’t watch a lot of DVDs, but like the sound that comes out when watching TV, sports, movies and news.
